Tiny Bytes of Tranquility

Poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings: it takes its origin from emotion recollected in tranquility.”

William Wordsworth

I let my mind wander through the misty edges of a tranquil scene…an image stored in the fringes of memory…. waiting to be pulled out and savored over morning coffee…

I have many such images kept in my imagination

Enhanced with flourishes and stripes of color

Some heavy with glitter, others in basic blue

…they come in handy when the hustle-bustle of modern life threatens to overtake my peace of mind…

Wishing you a tranquil day,

Strawberryindigo.
