The Limitless Deep

“The sea does not reward those who are too anxious, too greedy, or too impatient. One should lie empty, open, choiceless as a beach–waiting for a gift from the sea.”

~Anne Morrow Lindbergh

I contemplate the mysteries of the limitless deep

Wind in my hair

Feet planted firmly in the soft sand

Waiting for an answer

but the question remains unconsidered

I think I hear something

but it is lost in the roar of the surf…

  1. Love this,Strawberryindigo. I love the photo, quotation and words of wisdom. I love the long wet zone of the beach that reflects the distant headland. Would love to know what beach this is?
