Travel theme: Roads to Adventure!

“Nothing behind me, everything ahead of me, as is ever so on the road.”

~Jack Kerouac from “On the Road”

On the road

There you are!  Your hands are on the wheel. The top is down and the hot summer sun is shining on the windshield. Off you go to nowhere in particular, the wind is in your hair and your heart races with anticipation. The excitement rushes over your body in waves.

You can feel the roar of the engine and the smooth road ahead.

Let the road take you to beyond what is somewhere or someplace; to the unexpected. Life is an adventure, full of twists and turns. You never know what is just around the corner.

You are in control. Don’t let your fears limit where you can go. Take the open roads, seize the moment and breathe each breath like it was your last!

Not I, nor anyone else can travel that road for you. You must travel it by yourself. It is not far.  It is within reach. Perhaps you have been on it since you were born, and did not know. Perhaps it is everywhere – on water and land.”

  ~Walt Whitman
