Love is like a flower

Gentle, soft and sweet

Beautiful and fragile

Strong but sometimes fleeting

Love can spring up in the most unexpected of places

And life without it can be like one long cold winter

Watching by windows, waiting for a sign

And then one day you open the door and it hits you

You are greeted with warmth and blue skies

And the melodies of birdsong

Then you realize that Spring has finally arrived.

And your world is covered in exquisite flowers…
