Fall into Winter
The days grow shorter and the air turns from cool to crisp to biting cold. The November winds change to December’s as they moan and howl at my door, scraping the curling leaves across the concrete of the street. I pull the heavy winter quilt over my head, grateful to be inside on a morning such as this. But the golden light of the sun does beckon me awake. It is hanging high in the pale wintersky and it’s rays shine upon what’s left of the leaves in the trees and I am left dreaming of warm spring days far off in the distance.

Hi Janet…well, you never know but so far I’m freezing! Perhaps some beautifully knitted socks would warm me—hint hint 😉 (just kidding)
