“Nature is ever at work building and pulling down, keeping everything whirling and flowing, allowing no rest but in rhythmical motion, chasing everything in endless song out of one beautiful form into another.”
John Muir
There is a certain magic in this time of year. A wild little whimsy of hope and a tinge of excitement at what adventure the future may bring. There is a crispness in the air that is fresh and clean and fills me with inspiration. To me, Autumn signals a new start, a fresh beginning. It’s the time to wake up from the haze and laze of summer.
Do you have any plans this Autumn? Let me know…

Out of one beautiful form into another: when one finds himself or herself in a situation like this,it seems really unrealistic but it is miracles, deeply spiritual and so good to be true.I believe in miracle.I urge you to believe today and all is going to be possible and more beautiful will form into another in this Autumn. No much plan this Autumn, just work.Inspirational post, I must say. Thanks! 🙂
Hi Udoji: I believe in miracles. I believe that truth and goodness wins out in the end–if one’s heart is pure. Thanks too. 🙂
Love those autumn shades…
Thanks so much. 🙂
Thank you for bringing the magic time to us! Down in the south, it’s still pretty green.
Hey Amy, Thanks…Autumn is such a lovely season…
Lovely images. My plans were to maybe head north into Canada, but I’ve been hearing about a lot of smoke from all the fires this summer. And now it’s getting too close to a time when snow might visit the mountains. Trying to come up with alternate plans now. It’s even been looking pretty hazy down here.
Thanks Gunta. It has been hazy here too, but it made for a spectacular sunset the other night. I was stuck at Back to school night and could’nt leave the building to take some pics…Oh well…next time.
Beautiful shots – my plans for the autumn is like every year – looking forward enjoy all the wonderful colors… 😉
Yes, Drake. The colors, oh what marvelous colors…it is inspiring!
Autumn-my favorite season. All that transformation surrounding us, and the sudden joys of
cuddling up in warm jackets against the first cold wind of the season. Yum!
Yum is right Janet and you make it sound so perfect!
Since I don’t like the heat of summer I always look forward to autumn. You’ve captured those colours beautifully! My plans? Planting bulbs, baking pumpkin cake, helping chop and stack wood for the fire… 😀
Hey Cathy: Autumn is so lovely, the weather has been just perfect here.
So….You are baking pumpkin cake–I bet it will be very good. 🙂
