STATUESQUE
I have made it no secret that one of my favorite places is The Grotto in Portland, Oregon. I have featured some of the wonderful aspects of this botanical garden and shrine in previous posts, maybe it’s because I live nearby…maybe it’s because I have a season’s pass to the upper gardens…maybe this place is so fantastic I haven’t shown it all…perhaps it’s a bit of all of the above…regardless, this place has art amongst the trees..let’s take a look…

Our Lady’s Grotto, a rock cave carved into the base of a 110-foot cliff. A life-size marble replica of Michelangelo’s Pietà is featured in its center.
Have a beautiful weekend!

It looks like a lovely place to contemplate and unwind. A season’s pass is a great idea.
Hi Cathy! Yes and Yes…and I’m getting my money’s worth. I have loud and crazy neighbors that either get up very early or stay up very late. I’m a sensitive soul that needs some quiet. Thanks for stopping by, It’s always nice to see you. 🙂
