A Walk through a Season

A Walk Through A Season

“Nothing ever is, but all things are becoming…all things are the offspring of flux and motion.”

 A Beautiful Autumn in the

 Pacific Northwest

Autumn came on with a whisper.

Slight and careful.

Gently pushing summer away.

October rains and November winds

have held their usual fervor.

Allowing the season to blossom

 into a remarkably exquisite show.

Always in motion

The beauty of the season.

Delicate in its fleeting nature.

I watch as the season deepens.

And I fall in love with color all over again

Brilliant jewels of hues and plays of light.

I am truly inspired.

I capture a bit of this beautiful autumn here.

Rich veins of scarlet and gold

with bands of amber and velvet green.

How Lovely.

The changing of seasons allow me to reflect on the passage of time Change is our one constant…. and how change can be beautiful.

Do you think change can be beautiful?  Or is it a constant ugliness that must be fought at all costs?  Let me know. I’d love to hear your opinion.

And so I conclude this first post with a quote; one that reminds me that true change can take a while and miracles don’t happen overnight.

” The nobler and more perfect a thing is, the later and slower it is in arriving at maturity.”

**Arthur Schopenhauer**

Wishing you a beautiful last gasp of autumn.
